Glen A. Purdy Q.C. , M.S.M.Mr. Purdy was called to the bar of British Columbia in 1984, joining George S. Majic, Q.C. in the practice of law that year. Mr. Purdy's practice is primarily focused on real estate and development law (including litigation) municipal law, business law and commercial law. He has appeared at all levels of Court in British Columbia and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2011. Mr. Purdy was a co-founder of a restorative justice program for young offenders in 1994, and has assisted other communities throughout Canada in establishing similar programs. He has been awarded the Governor General's Meritorious Service Medal by Governor General Adrienne Clarkson for his work with young offenders.
Angela N. Etheridge B.A., L.L.B.Originally from New Brunswick, Ms. Etheridge received her L.L.B. from Dalhousie University in 2003, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2004 and the British Columbia bar in 2005. Ms. Etheridge has practiced law at Majic, Purdy Law Corporation since 2005. Ms. Etheridge's practice is focused on litigation, including civil, personal injury, criminal defence and family law and she has practiced in all levels of the Courts in British Columbia. She is active in the community, having been a director of the Fernie Chamber of Commerce, the Fernie and District Arts Council and the Kootenay Rockies Innovation Council.
George S. Majic Q.C.George S. Majic, Q.C. founded the firm in 1971, practicing in the Fernie area until his untimely passing in 2003. George was a skilled litigator, with a passion for defending those less fortunate. He was a community activist, being elected for two terms to City Council and the School Board, and was the driving force behind many community enterprises, including the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League
